The rotor pump is a type of positive displacement pump. The relative movement between the rotor and the pump body changes the working volume, thereby increasing the energy of the liquid. The cam rotor pump is specially designed for gently conveying high-viscosity or particle-containing materials and is suitable for sanitary and sterile occasions. It is particularly gentle in handling materials, with an adjustable conveying speed (50-1000rpm). It is also particularly suitable for media that are prone to foaming during the conveying process and that will destroy the material structure due to high-speed conveying. Basic functions of the product

The basic functions mainly include conveying various viscous or particulate media, and it has the characteristics of self-priming, high head, wear resistance and non-blocking. This pump relies on two synchronously reversed rotors to generate suction during the rotation process, thereby sucking in and conveying materials.


Basic information of the product

‌The neutral cam rotor pump is a positive displacement pump with the advantages of small size, light weight, high speed, stable operation, large flow, no pulsation, and strong self-priming ability.‌‌Its main components include pump body, bidirectional rotating cam rotor, positioning shaft, coupling and motor. The pump body is usually cast or welded from sheet metal, with two rotors inside. Each rotor consists of a central shaft and a cam. The cam profile fits closely with the inner profile of the pump body. The two rotors rotate in opposite directions to form a cavity whose volume changes periodically as the rotor rotates, completing the process of sucking in and discharging the medium.‌


Usage Environment

Petrochemical industry: In refineries, chemical plants and other places, it is used to transport crude oil, heavy oil, diesel, gasoline, various chemical raw materials and finished products. These environments usually have flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful gases, and high explosion-proof and leakage-proof performance requirements are placed on the pump. -Pharmaceutical industry: In the production line of pharmaceutical factories, it is used to transport various liquid medicines, pharmaceuticals, biological products, etc. This environment has extremely high requirements for the hygiene and cleanliness of the pump material, and must comply with the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for pharmaceutical production. -Food and beverage processing: such as the transportation of milk, beer, juice, syrup, edible oil, etc. The pump body and parts in contact with the medium are required to be made of food-grade stainless steel or materials that meet hygiene standards, and are easy to clean and disinfect. Product Operation Guide

  • Before starting the pump, make sure that the pump drive shaft and the motor shaft are coaxial, otherwise it will cause damage to the machine parts.

  • Try to avoid dry running to prevent damage to the seal contact surface. If dry running is performed for a short period of time, a little clean water can be applied around the sealing surface of the mechanical seal.

  • This product is a positive displacement pump with a fixed displacement per revolution. If the discharge pipeline is blocked or the previous process stops working while the pump is still running, a very high pressure will be generated, causing accidents such as pipeline rupture, seal leakage or machine damage. If the load is overloaded, the pump's transmission parts (drive shaft, coupling, rotor, etc.) will also be damaged. 

  • When the upper and lower pipelines are closed, the pump must not be started, otherwise the pump will be damaged! 

  • Before starting, the pump inlet and outlet and the upper and lower pipelines must be fully opened. 

  • Before starting, check whether the pump and motor are in the correct direction (jog check).

  • For this sanitary pump, the most important thing is to clean it before operation.


Frequently asked questions

Unable to start

Check the power supply to ensure that the joints are firmly connected, the switches are in tight contact, the fuses are not blown, and the three-phase power supply is normal; check and adjust the tightness of the packing, dredge the water diversion trough, disassemble the pump body to remove debris, and remove rust or replace the pump shaft, bearings, and leakage reduction rings.


Insufficient flow or unstable pressure

Reinstall the imported seals to ensure good sealing; restore the rated speed, remove the belt oil and dirt and adjust the belt tightness; shorten the pipeline or change the pipeline curvature to reduce resistance.


There is air in the pump or air is accumulated in the water inlet pipe

First pressurize the water, then fill the pump body with water and start it; check whether the check valve is tight, whether there is any leakage in the pipes and joints, apply lubricating oil or paint to the joints and tighten the screws; check the oil seal ring of the water pump shaft. If it is severely worn, replace it with a new one.


Loud vibration and noise

Increase the inlet diameter to reduce the inlet resistance, remove the debris in the pump and check whether the pump rotates normally; reduce the vacuum degree‌
