QBY Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump

The QBY pneumatic diaphragm pump is a positive displacement pump powered by compressed air, belonging to the category of pneumatic double diaphragm pumps (AODD). It features no shaft seal, strong self-priming capability, and explosion-proof safety, and is widely used for media transportation in industries such as chemical, environmental protection, petroleum, and food. Its core working logic is: compressed air drives the diaphragm inside the pump to reciprocate, alternately completing the intake and discharge of the medium. The flow rate can be controlled by adjusting the air source pressure. The pump body and diaphragm can be made of various materials such as stainless steel, PP, and PVDF, making it suitable for various complex media including acids, alkalis, solid particles, viscous substances, and flammable and explosive materials. Introduce the basic functions of the product



1. Media transport:The diaphragm reciprocates to achieve continuous transport of liquids, slurries containing solid particles, and high-viscosity fluids. The flow rate can be flexibly controlled by adjusting the compressed air pressure.


2. Self-priming conveyor: No pre-priming is required; the self-priming height can reach 5-8 meters; it can directly extract media under low or negative pressure conditions.


3. Leak-free delivery: The shaftless structure design allows for the safe transport of flammable, explosive, toxic, harmful, and highly corrosive media, avoiding leakage, pollution, and safety hazards.

1. Media environment: It can transport highly corrosive media such as acids and alkalis, slurries containing solid particles, and high-viscosity fluids, and is suitable for a variety of complex media.


2. Operating environment: Suitable for flammable and explosive hazardous locations and temporary operation scenarios without power supply, it can run idle for a long time and withstand the normal temperature range of -20℃ to 80℃.


3. Installation environment:No fixed foundation is required; it can be used in a mobile manner and is suitable for narrow spaces, outdoor open-air environments, and other scenarios.

Product Operation Guide




1. Installation check: Confirm that the pump body/diaphragm material matches the medium, and check that the check valve and diaphragm are undamaged and unblocked.


2. Pipeline connection: The air inlet is connected to compressed air (with a pressure regulating filter installed); the liquid inlet pipe is for the medium, and the liquid outlet pipe is connected to the target container.


3. Power-on adjustment: Slowly turn on the gas source and adjust the gas pressure to 2-7 kgf/cm². The pump will start automatically. Adjust the pressure and control the flow rate, and observe for any leaks or abnormal noises.


4. Shutdown maintenance: First, shut off the gas supply and stop the pump, then drain any residual medium from the pump. If the pump is to be shut down for an extended period, flush the pump chamber with clean water or a cleaning agent.


5.Key points to note:Prolonged high-pressure idling without a medium is prohibited; ventilation and grounding of pipelines are required for flammable and explosive media operation.

1. Start media-free output:Air leak/blockage in the inlet pipe, low air pressure, or stuck check valve.


2. Insufficient flow pressure: Unstable air pressure, diaphragm wear, and pipeline blockage.


3. Abnormal noise and vibration during operation: Reversing valve malfunction, diaphragm damage, pump body not securely fixed.


4. Media leakage: Diaphragm aging, loose pipe joints, damaged gaskets.


5. Reversing valve malfunction: The gas source contains impurities, the valve core is worn, and the gas pressure fluctuates greatly.


6. Decreased self-aspirating ability:Small inlet diameter / clogged filter screen / poor diaphragm seal.
