G-type Screw Pump

The G-type screw pump is a single-screw positive displacement pump that relies on the meshing rotation of the screw and bushing to form a closed chamber and push the medium for transportation. It has a compact structure and features strong self-priming capability, stable flow rate, and low shear. It is suitable for high-viscosity media containing solid particles (such as sludge, syrup, paint, crude oil, etc.) and is widely used in conveying applications in chemical, environmental protection, food, and petroleum industries. It can also achieve forward and reverse conveying.

Introduce the basic functions of the product



 1. Media transport 


As a positive displacement pump, it can stably transport various media, and is especially good at high viscosity fluids (such as crude oil, syrup, and coatings), slurries containing solid particles (such as sludge and mineral slurry), and easily sheared materials. 


2. Self-priming conveyor 


It has strong self-priming capability, can start without priming pump, can achieve long-distance conveying operations, and is suitable for working conditions where self-priming is not possible.


3. Stable and quantitative delivery 


During operation, the flow rate is uniform and the pressure is stable, allowing for precise control of the conveying volume and meeting the quantitative conveying needs of chemical metering, food ingredient mixing, and other applications.


4. Two-way conveyor


changing the motor's rotation direction, the medium can be transported in either the forward or reverse direction, offering flexible operation and adaptability to complex pipeline transportation scenarios.




Usage Environment




 1. Media compatibility 


It can transport high-viscosity fluids (1~100000 mPa・s) and slurries containing solid particles (particle size ≤10mm, solid content ≤40%), and is compatible with neutral/weakly corrosive media; the food-grade model can transport sanitary materials. 


2. Operating parameters 


Standard medium temperature: -20℃ to 80℃; outlet pressure: 0.6 to 4.0 MPa; self-priming height: 3 to 8 m; suitable for horizontal, vertical, and inclined installation. 


3. Environmental Requirements


The installation site should be well-ventilated and dry, with an ambient temperature of -10℃ to 40℃; the explosion-proof type can be used in flammable and explosive workshops and supports continuous or intermittent operation.

Product Uses




1. Environmental wastewater treatment industry


The core is used to transport municipal sludge, biochemical sludge, sedimentation tank bottom sludge, sewage return liquid and other solid-containing slurries. It is suitable for sludge dewatering, transportation and lifting processes in sewage treatment plants, and can also be used for sludge transportation in river dredging.


2. Petrochemical industry 


It can transport crude oil, heavy oil, lubricating oil, diesel oil and other oil products; it can also transport various chemical media, such as resins, coatings, adhesives, acid and alkali solutions (customized corrosion-resistant materials are required), high viscosity polymers, etc., and is suitable for raw material transportation in chemical plants, reactor feeding and other working conditions.


3. Food and Beverage Industry 


It is compatible with sanitary grade models and can convey viscous materials such as syrup, jam, chocolate sauce, ketchup, cream, yogurt, juice, and rice wine, meeting the needs of ingredient preparation, filling, and conveying in food production, without shearing or damaging the material structure.


4. Mining and metallurgical industry 


It can be used to transport slurries containing solid particles such as mineral slurry, tailings slurry, smelting waste slurry, and coal slurry. It can also be used to transport underground wastewater and emulsions, making it suitable for harsh working conditions in mines.


5. Building materials industry


It is used to transport viscous materials such as cement mortar, gypsum slurry, paint slurry, and concrete additives for spraying, pouring, and batching at construction sites, as well as for transporting raw materials in building material factories.


6. Agriculture and civilian sectors 


It can transport mud and water for farmland irrigation, and biogas slurry and residue from biogas digesters; the mini version can be used for transporting manure from livestock farms and lifting sewage from family courtyards.




Product Operation Guide




1. Before starting 


Check the pipeline connections and motor rotation direction; for the first start of the priming pump (shorten the self-priming time), fully open the suction valve and adjust the discharge valve as needed. 


2. Running 


Start the motor under no-load conditions, and open the discharge valve after it stabilizes; monitor pressure, temperature, and vibration, and stop the machine immediately if any abnormalities are detected. Prolonged operation with the valve closed is strictly prohibited.


3. After shutdown


Close the discharge valve first, then disconnect the power; for long-term shutdown, drain the medium, clean the pump body, and periodically rotate the pump to prevent sticking.




Frequently Asked Questions



1. Unable to deliver medium 


The motor may reverse, the suction line may leak air, the screw bushing may be severely worn, or the viscosity of the medium may be too high and exceed the pump's compatibility range.


2. Insufficient traffic/unstable pressure 


The problem could be due to a clogged filter, air entering the pump chamber, low speed, or slight wear on the screw bushing.


3. Abnormal noise/excessive vibration during operation 


The pump body is not installed evenly, the bearing is damaged, the screw and bushing are not properly meshed, or the medium contains large impurities that cause blockage. 


4. Leakage at the shaft end 


The seals are worn out, the fastening bolts are loose, or the pump chamber pressure is too high, exceeding the seal's pressure resistance value. 


5. Motor overheating trips


Prolonged overload operation, unstable voltage, poor heat dissipation, or excessive speed when conveying high-viscosity media.
